SPEAKER BRIEFING

For your participation in the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2024 – Summit & Expo

When: 4 December & 5 December

Where: Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, NCC Mitte, Hall Brüssel 1

Information about your session:

Please inform yourself in advance about the definite time of your session in our current programme.

Arrival & parking:

If you are travelling by car, you can park free of charge on the car park deck “Parkdeck Süd”.

Access to the exhibition centre:

Access to the event is via the Entrance “Mitte”. There is an electronic access system on site for which you will need your personalised ticket. Without this you will not be able to enter the event.

If you do not yet have a ticket, please use the register. 

Speaker check-in:

Please report directly to the “Speaker Meeting Point” when you arrive. This should be 60 minutes before your speech. This way we know that you have arrived safely.

How do you get to the “Speaker Meeting Point”?
You pass the entrance “Mitte" and the electronic access system. Then follow the signs in the direction of "Summit, Hall Brüssel 1, Level 1". The Meeting Point is located directly in front of the Hall Brüssel.

Speaker Room:

The lounge for speakers is located in Hall “Brüssel 2”, right next to the "Speaker Meeting Point". Here you can store your personal belongings, prepare for your presentation or relax a little.

Microphoning:

Microphones will be set up at the control desk in the Hall “Brüssel 1”. Please arrive at the “Speaker Meeting Point” in front of the Hall Brüssel at least 15 minutes before the start of your presentation. Our speaker liaison officer will accompany you to the control desk.

Notes on the microphone:

• Please do not wear any (hanging, long) earrings that could swing against the microphone boom. This causes disturbing noises.
• When choosing your wardrobe, please ensure that the transmitter must be accommodated. This can either be placed inconspicuously in a pocket or attached to a belt/waistband (or similar) using a clip.

Notes on the stage set-up:

• The panel discussions take place in a seated arrangement (sofa).
• A lectern is available for keynotes & presentations. A preview monitor is available.

Notes on the stage procedure:

• The moderator introduces you as a speaker.
• You enter the stage and give your presentation.
• If you are also taking part in a panel discussion after your presentation, please go directly from the lectern to the sofa.
• After your presentation, the moderator will officially bid you farewell.
• Please leave the stage and have the microphone taken back from you.

Conference language:

• The conference language on 4 December will be German and 5 December English.
• There will be simultaneous translation into the other language on both days.

Are you giving a presentation and would like to support your impulse with presentation slides?

– If you are a participant in a panel discussion, this point does not apply to you. –

• If you would like to use presentation slides for your contribution, please send us your presentation as a Microsoft PowerPoint file in 16:9 format by email to speaker@hydrogendialogue.com by Thursday, 28 November 2024 at the latest.
• All videos and images must be embedded in the PowerPoint.
• All fonts must be embedded.
• Please specify any additional requirements (accessing websites or other programmes, other digital presentations) in advance. 
• For correct allocation, please name your presentation as follows: "HD24_*your name* 

Note about catering

By showing your speaker badge, you will receive free drinks and food at the catering stations in the hall.
