Summit and Expo: A Versatile Combination

The combination of Summit and Expo allows participants to benefit from both high-caliber lectures and discussions as well as a comprehensive exhibition of the latest technologies and projects. The event brings together decision-makers and professionals from business, politics, and science to promote dialogue, knowledge exchange, and networking along the entire hydrogen value chain.

The HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2024 – Summit & Expo offers a unique combination. In the conference area (Summit), national and international experts will discuss the foundations for a successful hydrogen economy in lectures, panel discussions, and keynotes. Simultaneously, the exhibition hall (Expo) provides space for extensive presentations of companies and projects by renowned companies and research institutions, as well as innovations, technologies, and startups.

The first conference day on December 4th offers a variety of lectures, panel discussions, and keynotes. National and international experts will share exclusive knowledge with the industry. A special highlight is the opening speech by Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, who will speak about the importance of the hydrogen economy for the industrial region of Southern Germany. Further discussion rounds will address the transformation and how well Germany is prepared for the intergenerational task. Summit Day 2 – Innovation and Internationality: New Technologies and Global Collaborations

On the second day, December 5th, more exciting lectures and discussions are on the agenda. The focus will be on international cooperation. Various sessions will discuss how international collaborations can advance the hydrogen economy. Experts from different countries will share their experiences and best practices to promote global exchange and initiate joint projects. Particularly noteworthy is the lecture by Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, CEO of Hydrogen Europe, who will speak about the role of Europe in the global hydrogen economy. Another highlight is the panel discussion with speakers Yoshinori Kanehana, CEO of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and Dr. Philipp Steinberg, Head of the Department for Economic Stabilization, Energy Security, Gas, Hydrogen Infrastructure at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in Berlin.
